The General Office Administrator provides essential administrative, organisational, and operational support across the management team within a fast-paced technology environment.
This role enables smooth day-to-day operations, supports effective communication between departments, and assists with administrative tasks that allow managers to focus on strategic and technical priorities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Office & Communications Management
- Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external enquiries.
- Monitor shared mailboxes and ensure queries, approvals, and renewals are actioned or escalated promptly.
- Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, and take accurate minutes.
- Arrange travel, accommodation, and assist with company events.
Sales & Finance Administration
- Convert approved quotes into sales orders and set up recurring agreements.
- Assist with supplier pricing, quote preparation, and order processing.
- Track licence renewals (Palo Alto, Forcepoint, SSL) and support monthly updates to customer agreements.
- Log customer service tickets and provide non-technical updates.
Cross-Team Support
- Provide administrative support across Management, Finance, Sales & Marketing, Cyber, and Technical teams.
- Support HR with onboarding, training logs, and certification tracking.
- Assist with installation and maintenance scheduling for clients.
- Manage deliveries, supplies, and office maintenance requests.
ABOUT YOU
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in an administrative, coordination, or operations support role — experience in a managed services or technology environment is a strong advantage.
- Hands-on experience with ConnectWise Manage or a similar PSA platform is desirable but not essential.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and to deadlines.
- High attention to detail, particularly around data quality, financial settings, and billing accuracy.
- Confident working with Microsoft Office 365, including Excel for reporting and data management.
- Clear and professional communication skills — written and verbal — across a range of internal and external audiences.
- Experience of quotation generation and job or project administration is advantageous.
